CAPA stands for Corrective And Preventative Actions.
It is a log of actions taken to correct an issue with any piece of inventory/batch/product. You can associate CRM Accounts, Inventory, Orders, and Deviation Reports to it, then add the corrective actions to take and close them as they're completed. You can also mark a due date for the actions in the plan to be completed.
Go to QA > CAPAs and click Log New Report.
Complete the form on the modal with the correct information and click CREATE REPORT. The CAPA is created and added to the list. You can click on any CAPA in the list to view it.
When viewing a CAPA, you initiate it by selecting Elevate Report and clicking Initiate CAPA.
You will then be able to link an account, inventory, orders or upload a file to the CAPA.
Once all the correct information has been linked select Add Action. Here you will be able to create a list to tasks to ensure corrective measures are put in place to prevent a mishap from happening again
Click APPROVE ACTION PLAN when the suggested actions are approved.
Under the Actions tab you will be able to view all the actions created. Click an action's ID, then click Close Action to mark it as completed, completed but with some exceptions, or skipped.
After closing all the actions, you can close the CAPA.
