A lot item is sellable product taken from lots.
The SKU it is assigned to determines how and when it can be sold.
You can sell a lot item by creating an order.
Creating a Lot Item
Lot items are created from lots that have passed QA testing.
Go to the lot you want to create a lot item from (Warehouse > Lots > [the lot ID]) and follow the process of testing and releasing:
Working With Lot Items
Go to Warehouse > Lot Items. The page displays a list of existing lot items.
Click the ID of a lot item in the list to open a page where you can view and manage it.
View Source Lot
Click the ID under Source Lot to go to the source lot's page.
Lot Item Actions
The actions listed below can be applied to the lot item.
Select the room the lot item was moved to.
Use this to log part of the lot item that is being prepared for destruction. A modal appears where you specify the destruction details such as the waste type. The quantity of remaining inventory will be adjusted.
Use this to record some action taken on the lot item that you want to note. You can optionally attach a document to the entry.
You can view this entry in the Activity Log at the bottom of the page.
When printing labels, you specify the label template (which determines what the label looks like and what information appears on it) and the printer.
